A toast to the EFTA-India free trade agreement with Iceland along three other members Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. As a celebration, happened at the ambassador of Iceland H.E Guðni Bragson‘s residence in honour of the minister of foreign affairs of Iceland H.E Bjarni Benediktsson earlier this March, our editor Ar.Kritika Juneja was invited. As a token of gratitude she presented a hand drawn painting to the ambassador, Guðni Bragson.
As per report, the pact was approved by the Union Cabinet on March 7. A total of 14 chapters are included in the agreement, including trade in goods, rules of origin, intellectual property rights, trade in services, investment promotion and cooperation, government procurement, and technical barriers to trade.
